Workshops for Women Who Have Experienced Abuse
Dose of Nature delivers nature-based workshops at Marble Hill House

"It was a great experience. I made friends, connected with nature in a way I have never done before and also learnt about the massive benefits that nature has on my mental health and overall well being."
Dose of Nature delivered a series of five workshops at Marble Hill House in Twickenham for women who have experienced abuse to increase connection with nature and improve wellbeing and self-esteem.
The workshops took place at Marble Hill House which was built around three hundred years ago by Henrietta Howard who had experienced hardship herself, having been trapped in an abusive marriage. The sense of hope and determination made the Marble Hill grounds a perfect place for these nature-based workshops.
The workshops were a combination of activities that increased connection with nature, and education on the science behind the benefits of engaging with nature.
"This course has benefitted my well being on an incredibly deep level. I have received the tools I need for a healthy and positive connection with nature!"
