Dose of Nature aims to build a community of dedicated people who recognise the importance of mental wellbeing and understand the huge benefits to mental health of spending time in natural environments.

You can also support us by organising a Dose of Nature event or workshop in your business, school or college; or by joining our youth programme, becoming a young nature champion, or volunteering as part of the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. Email info@doseofnature.org.uk for more information.

We support people with a wide range of mental health problems, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, OCD, eating disorders, addiction and psychosis. Further funding enables us to help more people suffering from the debilitating effects of these mental health issues.

  • Would you like to do something rewarding and worthwhile?
  • Do you enjoy spending time outdoors?
  • Are you interested in mental health and wellbeing?
We are looking for empathetic, compassionate individuals with a love of the outdoors to train as Dose of Nature Guides. You do not need any specific knowledge or experience to be a Dose of Nature volunteer, just an enthusiasm for working with people and spending time in nature.

Read about a recent training day here.
A comprehensive training program is provided alongside ongoing support and professional supervision. For this role, a minimum commitment of one half day per week is required.

To apply, download and complete the application form below, and then email it to info@doseofnature.org.uk.
