Dose of Nature at ICEP 2025

Dose of Nature Features at International Conference on Environmental Psychology 2025

We’re proud to share that our programme was presented at the International Conference on Environmental Psychology (ICEP) in Vilnius, Lithuania, on 18th June 2025.

Dr Kate Laffan, Assistant Professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), shared the preliminary findings from an independent evaluation of the Dose of Nature programme. This research has been undertaken in collaboration with Dr Christian Krekel (LSE) and supported by our team at Dose of Nature.

The presentation was very well received by members of the academic and policy-making community, including researchers from the Government and Social Policy (GSP) field. Attendees expressed great interest in the strength and rigour of the evaluation – with several noting that the robustness of this research goes beyond what has been achieved in some larger, government-funded programmes.

This recognition is an exciting milestone for Dose of Nature and reinforces the importance of nature-based interventions as a meaningful and evidence-backed approach to improving mental health and wellbeing.

We’re incredibly grateful to Dr Laffan and Dr Krekel for their dedication to this work, and we look forward to sharing more from the full evaluation in due course.
