Bank Holiday Dawn Chorus Walk

Dose of Nature clients and volunteers take part in Bank Holiday Dawn Chorus Walk

On the May Bank Holiday, Dose of Nature clients and volunteers took part in a 'Dawn Chorus Walk', run by our bird enthusiast Peter. What a wonderful way to start the day with a beautiful walk by the river and Peter's amazing insights.

New research from King's College London, published in Scientific Reports, indicates that hearing or seeing birds is linked to an improvement in mood that can last up to eight hours. We certainly appreciated the restorative effects that listening to the birds, as well as walking with friends in nature, can bring!
