Collaborators and supporters

We are a small charity, and like all of us individually, we depend on a wide ecosystem around us in order to function.

This ecosystem is vast, and includes our clients and volunteers - but in this section we would like to acknowledge our funding partners and the NHS and VCSE groups with whom we work on a daily basis.

Funding partners

As a small charity, every donation is both hugely appreciated and hugely impactful.

Donations come largely from two sources: individuals and charitable trusts and foundations.

Individual donations

We have been very fortunate to receive generous donations from a number of individuals who have supported the vision of Dose of Nature from the beginning. Our most generous benefactors prefer to remain anonymous and hopefully already know how much we value their support.

An increasing number of people are donating through our website. This income has increased from £56,000 to £70,000 and the source of funding makes a real difference.

Trusts and Foundations

Grant-making trusts and foundations constitute 63% of Dose of Nature funding.

These organisations have generally been established by wealthy individuals or corporaBons, past and present, and

support charities and CICs which meet their own impact priorities.

We literally would not be where we are today without the commitment and vision of a number of local foundations,

especially the Richmond Foundation, the Barnes Fund, the Maingot Charitable Trust and Highway One Trust.

In December we were very grateful to receive funding from the Hampton Fund, and in January we received funding from the National Lottery Community Fund and the Garfield Weston Foundation to expand our outreach in Guildford.

The Prudence and Chimo Trusts have been amazing in their support for our work with young people.
